These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AI Business Name Maker (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

AI Business Name Maker suggests business names. You describe your business with an industry, keywords and a style; an AI model writes name ideas with a short meaning for each; and we check whether each name's .com domain is registered. The Service is free to use, with a daily limit per visitor, and needs no account.

Names are suggestions

Names and meanings are written by an AI model and filtered by us, but they may still be similar to existing businesses, brands or trademarks, and other visitors may be shown the same or similar names. We don't promise that any name is original, available or suitable for you. You are responsible for choosing a name and for checking that you can use it.

Domain checks are not a guarantee

Domain statuses come from a live lookup in the .com registry when you generate names, and may be cached for up to a day. "Likely available" means the registry had no record of the domain at that time. It doesn't mean the domain is still free when you try to buy it, that it's sold at the standard price, or that the name is free to use as a business name or trademark. Statuses marked "Couldn't check" mean the lookup failed.

Not legal advice

Nothing on the Service, including the guides, is legal, tax or business advice. Before you use a name, search trademarks and your state's business records, and talk to a qualified professional if you're unsure.

Third-party links and affiliates

The Service links to domain registrars, the USPTO, social networks and business formation services. Those sites are run by others under their own terms, and we're not responsible for them. Some links are affiliate links: if you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service to create names for illegal, hateful or deceptive businesses;
  • try to get names that copy or impersonate other businesses or people;
  • get around the daily limits, automate requests, scrape or resell the Service;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service or try to access it in unauthorized ways.

We may block requests or access that break these rules.

Changes and availability

We may change, limit or stop features at any time, including the daily limits.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including the costs of renaming a business, or for how you use the names you choose. Because the Service is free, our total liability is limited to $50.

Changes, governing law and disputes

We may update these Terms. If the changes are material, we will say so on the Service before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. If you have a dispute with us, contact us first so that we can try to solve it informally. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have under the consumer protection laws where you live.
